My name is Julie May and I have been a practising counsellor in Fareham for the past eight years. I am committed to providing counselling in a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment.

I work with individuals on an open-ended basis or for an agreed time period, with the aim of enabling you to enhance your life and to live it more fully.

I am a member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy) and abide by the BACP Ethical Framework. I am a BACP Accredited Counsellor and a UKRC Registered Independent Counsellor. I am also a member of the ACW (Association for Counselling at Work).

I am experienced in helping clients who have experienced difficulties in a great many areas, including:

  • Stress
  • Relationships
  • Low Self-Esteem or Self-Confidence
  • Anxiety
  • Bereavement
  • Life Changes
  • Depression, and
  • Addiction.

I work from an Integrative framework, incorporating Gestalt, Person Centred and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) into my approach, to best suit the needs of each individual client.
